Despite penalties and mistakes, Eagles edge Orange Glen in final regular season game

SFC might be getting used to winning now that the team has three in a row. On Friday, they secured a 24-19 W over Orange Glen Patriots. The game was played at Torrey Pines, and the Eagles celebrated the Seniors and Cancer Awareness. The game was close, physical, and riddled with penalties.

As for stats, no one put up better numbers for SFC than senior Michael Linguadoca, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 59 yards and 1 touchdown on 8 carries. Additional support came from defensive senior Carson Drake, who racked up 12 tackles.

Santa Fe Christian's victory brought them up to 6-3. Orange Glen's defeat pushes them down to 6-3. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, both teams will learn on Monday who they will play in the first round of the CIF Playoffs.
