Kristal Peterson has been the Certified Athletic Trainer and at SFC since 2005. She comes from Point Loma Nazarene University where she obtained her BA degree in Athletic Training. She also has an AA degree in Personal Training and as a Fitness Specialist. She has been certified in Athletic Training through the NATA for over 10 years and also is a Certified Track and Field Coach level 1. She has started SFC’s Student Athletic Training program where she mentors students about serving others through Sports Medicine. Her program continues to grow and students thrive off of learning about the different aspects of the medical field, hands on training, and weekly devotionals. Kristal works alongside SFC’s team doctors at San Diego Sports Medicine and Family Health Center, who have been voted the best doctors in San Diego on a number of occasions, to provide the best care to our student athletes at SFC. Kristal Peterson comes from Washington State and currently resides in San Diego with her husband and son.
