Olivia Anderson didn't allow a single run against San Dieguito Academy, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Santa Fe Christian Eagles to a 1-0 victory on Friday
The pitching was strong on both sides. Anderson struck out 12, while San Dieguito Academy pitchers sat down four.
The game was won in the bottom of the 8th inning as Addison Harang singled up the middle to score Rylee Olson.
Anderson was in the circle for Santa Fe Christian Eagles. Anderson surrendered zero runs on four hits over eight innings, striking out 12 and walking one.
Sophia Rea was in the pitcher's circle for San Dieguito Academy. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out four. Lilly Besemer threw one-third of an inning in relief.
Anderson led Santa Fe Christian Eagles with three hits in four at bats.
