Saturday our SFC Robotics teams had a great day at the South SD VEX Robotics Tournament at Montgomery High School. All three teams made it to the championship elimination rounds and competed well. Two making it to the round of 8 matches and one all the way to the round of 4 matches before being eliminated.
It was great watching our teams deal with and overcome the challenges that are a part of competitive robotics. Whether it was losing a tread on the intake, having a shaft pop out of a motor or an arm breaking off in the middle of a match, our students persevered and solved each issue as it popped up.
We should all be very proud and excited with our SFC Robotics teams.
They will be back on the competition fields in 2 weeks at Corona High School for our final regular season tournament.
