At 13-4 on the season, and 4-0 in League the Eagles are hitting their stride as they embark on the second half of their season. Currently riding a 8 game win streak in which they won the Lion’s Tournament followed by a sweep over Parker the Eagles opened their series with LJCD on Tuesday with a 6-2 win. They will play LJCD again on Thursday and then again on Saturday in a series that will possibly determine the Coastal League Champion.

The Eagles have one of their best offensive lineups in recent history with a team average of .290 and 5 starters hitting above the .300 mark. The pitching staff is also having a great year with a team ERA of 1.85 led by starters Marenghi, Lee, and Lohse.

The Eagles are currently ranked as the #3 team in the San Diego Division 2 ratings as they will look to continue with their strong league play heading into the playoffs.
