That would be the score going into halftime. Out of the half, Morse came out fired up.
Hicks started it for the Tigers with a 14-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter to increase the lead 21-14, in favor of the Eagles.
Then Morse, on its next drive, would take the lead because of who else but Hicks.

They would convert the two-point conversion to go up 22-21 at the end of the third quarter.
Midway through the fourth, Santa Fe Christian would get a 32-yard field goal by kicker/punter Ian Austin.
This would actually turn out to be the game-winner, making the score 24-22, in favor of the Eagles.
Both teams had stalled drives and turned the ball over once each.
On the last drive of the game, Morse had the ball and Hicks would fumble it on a fourth-and-2 and the Eagles would recover the ball to seal up the victory.
