SFC Girls Varsity Basketball competed this week in the El Cajon Valley Holiday Tournament. On Monday they beat Canyon Hills, Tuesday they beat High Tech High SD, Thursday they beat Southwest El Central earning them a spot in the finals. In the Championship game on Friday they fought hard against D2 Monte Vista. The Lady Eagles almost erased a 12 point 4th quarter deficit but came up short losing 45 - 42. The Lady Eagles took home the 2nd place trophy and Piper Lenihan earned “All Tournament Honors”.
