SFC's Varsity Women's Tennis met up with Tri-City Christian on Tuesday, September 13th, playing strong but just missed the win with a 7-11 final score.
Our Singles players, Sophomores Kalia Schempp (7-6) and Mila Sonkin (6-1) along with Freshman Catherine Bailey (6-4) battled some tough opponents but each brought a win to the SFC tally.
The Doubles teams also had wins on the board with Sophomore Piper Lenihan and Junior Chloe Rayners slamming down a 6-0 win along with Junior Adrie Morris coming up from the JV roster to share the court with Junior Ella Maddux claiming a 6-3 victory. Sophomore Andrea Allessio and Senior Camryn Cleary posted a strong 6-4 win while Senior Paulina Allessio found the magic with Senior Camryn Cleary gaining the victory in an exciting 7-6 win against their Tri-City opponents.
The Lady Eagles will meet up courtside with Pacific Ridge on Wednesday, September 14th, 3:45pm at Mira Costa College in Oceanside.
