SFC Girls Varsity Basketball hosted Valhalla for their home opener on Monday November 29th. SFC held the lead the entire match but a tough Valhalla team fought back to tie the game with under a minute left. Senior Elise Taleon then sank a contested shot in the lane to give SFC a two point lead. On the next possession Elise converted one of two foul shots to increase the lead to 3. Valhalla had one last chance but tough team defense from SFC secured the win. Final score SFC 43, Valhalla 40.
