SFC Softball won its first game of the season with a dominant league win over Bishops by a score of 11-1.
Bryn Henson would not be denied at the plate, picking up four hits. Henson went 4-4 with a single in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, and tripled in the fifth.
SFC opened up scoring in the first inning putting up four runs with RBI's on a single by Ayari Loez and a double by Rylee Olson. In the second inning, Olivia Anderson crushed a triple to the transformer box in deep center field that would have been out of of every other softball field in the county.
The Eagles scored another four runs in the third powered by singles by Addison Harang, double by Henson, RBI single by Kayla Crecion and an RBI by Maddie Binnie.
Torin Bennett got the start for Santa Fe Christian Varsity Eagles. The righthander surrendered zero runs on one hit over four innings, striking out eight. Olivia Anderson came in to pitch the fifth inning for the save. The Eagles was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Anderson had the most chances in the field with eight.
