It was a brutal loss last night for our Lady Eagles as they took on the #1 seeded Pacfic Palisades Dolphins. The final score in the contest was 12-11 and was played in Los Angeles at Palisades High.
It was a tremendous game by our team. SFC was leading after the first quarter, and tied 7-7 at half time. The Dolphins sccored 4 goals in the 3rd quarter to SFC's one goal. The 4th quarter was all SFC, scoring 3 unanswered goals, then Pali scored their only period goal and it proved to be enough for the win and the right to advance to the State Finals this Saturday.
Top performances in the game include Mylin Bennett in her final SFC game with 6 goals, three assists and two steals. Revere Schmidt added 4 goals and Senior Kylie Kennard had one. Charlotte Adams was great in goal with five saves and two assists.
It was the final game as an SFC Waterpolo player for these Seniors- Mylin, Morgan Day, Megan Clardy, Kaia Roede. Kylie Kennard, Lana Davis and Charlotte Adams.
What an amazing year this was for our program.
