The Women’s Lacrosse team picked up their first win of the season with a 13-8 win over classical Academy. The Eagles opened up this season as defending section champions, and they embraced a difficult non-league schedule. They are now 1-5 on the season as they look to get back to their winning ways. This year's team has had quite a few key injuries along with a lot of newcomers to the program. They have made positive steps each outing this year and it was great to see them come away with their first victory.
In last night's win, Senior Lexa Neufield scored 10 Goals to lead the Eagles. Goalie Emily Costa anchored the defense with 15 saves!
The next game is Monday 3/20 vs. Francis Parker at 5pm.
Come out and support your Eagles!
