The SFC Women’s Water Polo team dominated a non-league matchup against San Marcos by a score of 17-5. Leading the scoring charge for the Eagles was Senior captain Ryan Rodriguez and Sophomore Kylie Kennard with four goals each. Ryan lit up the scoreboard from the wing while Kylie dominated from the set position at two meters. Mylin Bennett led the defense with seven steals while also adding three goals and three assists. Morgan Day played had a great all game with three steals and three assists while adding two goals. Sprinter Aliyah Larson won all the sprints to help the Eagles dominate the time of possession while adding two goals in the win. Junior Sofia Gonzalez added two goals and an assist. The Eagles move to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in conference as we head into the Christmas Break. The team returns to play with a game at San Ysidro on January 4th followed by its first home game on January 4th at 3:30pm at the Boys & Girls Club Pool.
