The SFC Men's Water Polo Team captured its first victory of the season with a solid win over West Hills HS by a score of 19-7.
Leading the Eagles was Senior Max Pagon with a dominant performance scoring seven goals, five assists, four steals and four field blocks. Senior Marty Hamud had four goals and two assists while Senior Emanuel Contreras had four goals and three steals. Also adding goals were Senior Conner Leonard and Junior Ryan Harrison. Scoring his first Varsity goal was Freshman Mitchell Bailey who also had five steals on defense. Junior Tre Grove was solid in goal with six saves to seal the win for the Eagles.
Next game is Thursday vs Mater Dei Catholic in Chula Vista. The teams first home game is coming up on Saturday, Sept 10th vs league foe Canyon Hills HS at the Boys & Girls Club in Solana Beach.
