Every day after school for the last month our MS & US students have been given the opportunity to get outside and experience the joys of insense, structured, and fun excercise programs. All SFC students from 6th to 12th grade can train in the pool, on the field, or on the weight platforms as a way to relieve day to day stresses of life or prepare for a coming sports season.
Our program offerings are developed and managed by our SFC Strength and Varsity coaching staff. The Speed and Stregth program is lead by SFC Stregnth Coach, Ryan Friesen, and our Pool progam is being lead by Water Polo & Swim Coach, David Bennett.
Coach Friesen says, " Our after school workouts have been extremely successful. We are able to teach our students proper movement technique while preparing them for sport seasons later this year. I'm grateful our workouts have also provided a consistent space for them to play and have fun during these unique times."
CIF Champion Water Polo Coach, David Bennett comments, "It has been great to see as many as forty of our athletes coming to the pool each session to improve fitness, work on their Swimming and Water Polo skills, and have a lot of fun with friends and teammates. We have had quite a few kids come out that have not been involved in aquatic sports and they are learning a lot and having a lot of fun."
If your son or daughter want to give it a try, we encourage them come out and see what we are doing! For more info, contact [email protected] for more information.
