It was an exciting game for the Eagles but our Men's Varsity Water Polo came up just short, losing 11-14 in a non-league game against El Capitan High School. Sophomore Mitchell Bailey led the offense for the team bringing in 6 goals for the Eagles. Freshman Colby Rossettie racked up 3 goals while Sophomore David Coyle got his first Varsity goal of the season and Freshman Dane Correia added one goal to the tally. Junior Henry Maas played strong on defense grabbing 4 steals against the Vaqueros and Senior Tre Grove continued as the defensive powerhouse with 7 great saves to keep the game close. The Eagles next travel south to face up against Mater Dei Catholic on Friday, September 15th at 3:15pm.
