SFC's Women's Varsity Tennis remains undefeated in league play taking down the Tri-City Christian Eagles with a decisive 18-0 victory! Our Singles players each won all 3 of their matches starting with Junior Kalia Schempp posting scores of 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0. Sophomore Catherine Bailey grabbed her 3 wins with 6-2, 6-0 and 6-0 scores while Senior Reagan Coyle slammed down a 6-2 win and then Senior Taylor Hofmeister subbed in to finish off the final 2 matches with wins of 6-4 and 6-1. The Doubles teams also came away with clean sweeps starting with Freshman Peyton McKenna and Freshman Breezy Frederick claiming all 3 wins with 6-0, 6-0 and 6-1 scores. Junior Olivia Grimstad partnered up with Junior Kayla Crecion slamming down 3 wins of 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 while Freshman Abby Schneier and Junior Mila Sonkin stayed strong with 2 wins at 6-0 and 6-0 and Junior Andrea Alessio and Freshman Emi Tedesco claimed the final victory for the Lady Eagles at 6-1. The Lady Eagles have just 3 matches left to play to finish the season: 10/10/23 Vs, Orange Glen High School; 10/11/23 vs San DIego Jewish Academy and 10/12/13 vs. Escondido Charter School.
